Bob the Plumber, Pizzacats, Non-poison Cake, and Baby 2on September 19, 2014 at 11:52 am
Reading roundup: I just finished reading Bob Howard: Plumber of the Unknown and I love it!
This story is written by Rafael Nieves and illustrated by Dan Dougherty. I think it’s been out for a while, but I recently discovered it. Bob is an unassuming plumber who often finds himself confronted with the supernatural. If you see it, I highly recommend it.
Lee and Sam curated a zine entitled Pizzacats of which I’m proud to say I contributed art for. The magazine is a visual representation of the powerful combination of pizza and cats.
Along with writing comic books, I also work in the highly satisfying medium of cake prose. Here is a “Non-poison cake.” Some may find it a little suspicious, others may wonder where the “poison cakes” are kept, but everyone will agree the cake is delicious. I bet my life on it.
In other news, I’m happy to announce my wife and I are having baby number 2! She’s due at the end of January 2015. Here’s a shot of baby #1 learning how to take a selfie with dear old dad. Please note we do give our children actual names and don’t only refer to them by their assigned chronological order of birth. :)
Thanks for reading!
