Oh I’d love a happy ending to be sure, but we’ve already seen how this demon gets tensions flaring and poor Idem’s come straight from the hospital bed seemingly overpowering his fear and unhealth through the influence of the very demon he combats. Paternal relations and guardianhood seem to treat him pretty roughly on an ordinary day, let alone under these circumstances.
