Tane has a very Tane-centric view of the world around him.
Well, he seems to think his father can exist and feel fear, without Tane being in the area to experience it, so I guess he could be more Tane-centric than he is.
Then again, maybe Tane just wanted to reassure his dad that he hadn’t been eaten already. Since I am already trying to be positive, I’ll go with that, as unrealistic as it may be!
