You might recognize the name Samantha Kyle from our About page, or if you ever read the webcomic Random Assembly. I don’t care if it’s playing favorites, without Sam I’d still be trying to figure out website code. We’ve got guest art so I’m going to use it. I keep thinking Hazeldella is trying to hypnotize me…
I’m excited to report both Ed and I were guests on the latest episode of the Webcast Beacon Newscast over the weekend, hosted by Ross Nover of the System along with Alex Heberling of Alex’s Guide. The episode was released this morning so go check it out!
We discussed the week’s news mainly pertaining to comics or internet culture, also tech, rights to access to digital information and internet free speech, Wonder Woman’s pants… all kinds of stuff. We also got the chance to talk a bit about Little Guardians and how Ed and I work on the comic.
I came away from it very glad we were invited, Ross is a truly great example of everything that is right with webcomics. We were happy to have met Alex and the rest of the Webcast Beacon crew. We hope to be able to join them again soon. *winks at Ross*
A word from our artist…
Hello and welcome! Have you ever had an idea that got you so excited it consumed your attention from the moment you thought of it until you finally followed through? When that happens to you, drop me a line and tell me what it’s like. I’m kidding! I already know. For me, that idea was creating a webcomic with my buddy Ed Cho. A webcomic I’m proud to finally share with you today! I will be the first to admit the fact that Little Guardians is launching now instead of 12 months ago is entirely my fault. You could call Little Guardians the first New Year’s resolution that I’ve ever stuck to. Whatever the reason for delay, the reality we all have to come to terms with is, Little Guardians is here. NOW. And I can’t wait to show it to you.
Come back every Monday and Wednesday for new pages of Little Guardians. And check back in on Fridays for special bonus pages out of Dr. Thistlewhite’s monster journal. Above, you’ll find the first 8 pages of the Prologue to Book 1 of our first story arc we’re calling The Harvest.
Just to give you an idea of the scope we’re going for, The Harvest spans 3 books, each consisting of several Chapters. Each chapter will be from 60 to 90 pages long. So thank you for checking us out, I hope you’ll all stick with us for what I can promise you is going to be one hell of a fun ride.
